Levi Hancock was born in Farmington, New Mexico, and grew up in a large family. Levi moved to live with his grandparents in
Las Vegas, Nevada when he was 15, and attended the vocational high school SNVTC, where he studied computers, became involved in
FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and graduated at the head of his class. Levi worked his way through high school always
making class on time while sometimes working two full-time jobs. He graduated in 1995 and headed straight into the work force like his
father and grandfather had done before him. He learned the skills of compassion, understanding, and patience while working many jobs
that eventually led to a career in the oil and gas industry (Levi's hard work has earned him his current position as a Drilling
Manager for an oil company).
Levi has been married, is the father of two young boys, spends his spare time with his sons, and still calls them every night before
their bedtime.
During his career in the oil and gas industry Levi has learned valuable organizational skills, not to mention values like dedication
to hard work, fiscal responsibility, determination to do the job better, honesty, trust, and teamwork, values that he will bring
to the office of Governor. He is just an everyday hard-working blue collar man who has seen the nation and the State which he
loves go down the wrong road, and he wants to make a change for the better for the people of this great State of Colorado.
